    Speed Week, Speed Week!!

    After a fabulous time over in SA, we've both got the feel again to be back in the buggy and blofly. With the COVID situation settling here in Victoria, what about re-booting a speed week? Thoughts?

    hehe, thanks Joel - but no, not yet. Finally got the axles and wheels ... today! Still missing 1 set of wheels, the "Zero Gravity" barrows - but thats the local transporter messing about, they are close and I'll get them tomorrow probably. The Midi XL's on the alu rims (4"w front and 8"w rear) looks great, the fibreglass rear axle looks solid, and the pegs are solid. Was in a hurry, had to just chuck them quickly into the warehouse at work - didn't have time for assembly or photos. But there will be a report with pics and comments coming soon.   3. An awesome session on the clay pan at Kingston SE, Australia - by far the best I've felt in the buggy yet. Probably cos of the harness thanks to @The Duke. Captured, edited and soundtracked by the inimitable @jhn.holgate. Can't wait for next year!

  4. I recently joined this fantastic forum and so I am catching up. IMHO, every kite is unique and exceptional in it's own way. I have flown sleds, inflatables, Peter Powels, Flexifoils, ARCs, Beans, single skins, bridled foils hang gliders.... It is a true passion that has never left me and a regular springtime illness. Pleasure Kite Category: For outright simplicity, my all time favorite is the Scott sled. It is impossible to make one that will not fly. I would do free clinics for kids for years.
