i intend to use this combo for cross country sailing on paths and roads it s easier to bike back than doing the same on a dirtsurfer or mountainbord , also the fat has more off road ability and it s fun normally i hav one hand on the handlebar

I usually run eurotrax but would like to get a set of discs as some of my local beaches are smooth hardback. Most tend to go with landsegler beach wheels.Lenticular make a couple options, but never see anyone using them. Why is this?...or it just uncommon in my area? Took a screen capture. Landsiglr claims to be strong enough to withstand lateral forces without camber.Would the lenticular work best with camber or ok without(not that it’s a problem). Group thoughts or opinions please. thanks

Just wanted to see what people like in light winds, I haven't tried many different kites but by far the best one I have is the 12m FS Peak 2, it just floats and drifts really well without falling out of the sky, wind range is pretty big too really love this kite. Definitely want to replace my 9m PL P2 with another FS Peak.

Anyone been out at night, it's a full moon tonight and the wind is around 10 knots. I was going to go down the beach for a look and see if it's light enough for a safe run.

Today I was packing up when apparoched via the beach patrol, I was told not to use my buggy on the beach anymore, this was at Stockton beach north end. Then I asked can I use my mountain board which is like a skateboard with large wheels and they said no road rules apply, I didn't think mountain boards were band on roads. My first impression was power trip with no concept of real road rules or am I in the wrong. I don't understand as people drink beers, drive like retards but I can do my sporting hobby, am I wrong? What is everyone's thoughts on this matter?

Hey lads. Here's some moose pictures to drool. Another fantastic Moose. Dunes were just perfect! smooth, rolling no harsh sections. Wind was lighter I used my 12m chrono for most of it.

Hey guys been a long while since posting and just starting to get the bug back after a couple of good sessions the last week. Wanted to get ideas on how one would get my 6 year old along for a buggy ride. Cheers.

Oct.8-14th was the Wildwood buggy bash held in Wildwood NJ, Usa. What started as a weekend get together has evolved into a week long gathering of buggy, boarding, and blokart family. This year, those who arrived early were treated to some amazing onshore winds courtesy of Hurricane Michael. Wildwood beach is approximately 7 miles of amazing hardpack facing the Atlantic ocean. This year we had 4 GT buggies, a PTW and 2 MG Supras as well as the assortment of PL and Flexifoil buggies. Having upgraded my gear this year allowed me to set several PB's. I buggied more this bash than all my previous ones combined.

How about this for buggying frustration! I’m staying on a caravan park at Wonga beach Queensland. Walking through the park to this beach on the first afternoon here I find a firm sand beach with a decent amount of hard sand from the waterline to the scrub and I estimate a 10 to 13 knot onshore breeze but no buggy or kites with me. Aggggghhhh!

This is probably my first post here. I usually frequent Powerkiteforum.com. But I am a heavy lurker here. In fact I feel like I know some of you, I read your threads so much. Especially the GT build thread. Was a big influence in my decision to order one, and is still a great reference. I love this buggy. Only two times out in it so far, but the love affair is solid. Here is a quick clip of my second session(first one on duros)

After reading the build process that PriatePete has been doing. I thought it maybe interesting to put up some of our own home brewed kite buggies or mods on the forum. I know Chook , Andy666 and Westfire have built some awesome buggies over the years... So to start the ball rolling here are two of mine.

Wonder why my left leg was a bit wobbly when I landed a bit hard last year. Think all that was holding it to my body was a bit of muscle and skin, as left hip still attached to leg instead of pelvis.

So my girl friend's family spend a week up in Wells net the sea every year around November. Last year the wind was great but I had no kit as I have been banned from water sports due to injury for last 2 years. This year I will have a buggy ? are there any restrictions buggying at holkham? Where can you go round there? When we were there it was blowing a hooly and would have been amazing. I'm hoping for one day of the same luck this year. Also if any admins can help me recover my old profile that would be great, my email is logged to my old works profile but mine (marshall10488) I have no idea on the email address any more.

These photos from Eric Fontaine, I was nearly going to call it an acid buggy based on the trip he must of been on to come up with it!

Here's a quick video I pulled together from IBX 2018 earlier this month on the Ivanpah Dry Lake Bed on the border of CA and NV in the Southwestern USA. Great time, great people, and a great event!!! This video ended up becoming a bit of a Born-Kite love fest because I only had helmet cam footage and I was only flying Born kites this year. Hope you enjoy it!

I have just finished putting the latest parts onto my buggy and I’m wondering if I can still say that it is my original buggy? Like the grandfathers axe paradox my PL buggy has had every part replaced. Well almost, the front fork and foot pegs are still original. Now if I had of replaced all the parts at once, then I would of said that it was a new buggy that was using my old fork. But the parts have been replaced in stages over several years. So, can I still say that this is my original buggy?

Rob and I finally got a ride in on Monday. Good wind around 20kn SE. Totally hot as soon as you hit the track and equal both ways. Had a great ride for a couple of hours, was low tide but wind pushed a fair bit of water onto the track.... Made for some interesting moments aquaplaning at 60km/h plus.. Still managed to crack a 70km/h tho..... woo hoo. Rob was on his 7m Ikon Blind and I grabbed his 5m Blind as the 6m Slingshot kept deflating, need to replace the inflate valve. Been no wind since so bloody happy we got that ride in... awesome day.

Thanks @BobM for recommending going further south from Shoalhaven Heads. I'm staying in Huskisson for a week and took my PL Buggy to Currarong. Parked in the town 50m easy access down a sandy slope to the beach. Winds on shore about 13 knots. Brilliant! The 7.5m LongSar as my engine gave me hours of fun. Beach is solid but narrow in places but pretty well deserted apart from 2 fishermen. A recommended location. Note for @Chook - my 7.5m kite looked a bit small after borrowing your 15m Chrono!
