Hi currently live in Kidderminster and was wondering if there is any other people Kite buggiers/landboarders in the area looking at forming a regular meet up somewhere, I've emailed the council asking for any possible ground in the area not used by footballers with no success, I've found that the local parks suitable for us are covered in holes from their shoes and are so muddy from the amount of rain we've had, I know there is a club at Kempsey but unfortunately I don't drive being epileptic and I work weekends, I hope that I can find suitable ground locally privately owned that I can come to some agreement with the owners.

Got to be the closest thing to kite skating heaven there is. This one is recent. Probably just a everyday after work activity for them. Still not sure whether to post "streetkite" stuff in land boarding, general kiting, or kite skating. What say ye?

Hi. I would like any input on any beaches near Huddersfield to try landboard on. It would help me teach a mate how to kite when the winds are a little more consistent.

What's everyone's thoughts on electric skate/long/mountain boards. Which is the best and what about making your own, anyone made any ? Just thought, what about jet powered surf/paddle board for the water ? Not too fast ?

I picked up a beat up longboard for cheap to give it a try. I skated a lot 28 years ago so wasn't sure how it would go. I like it. Here's how the first time went.

After much talking about doing it, endless sketches, and gonna this and gonna that, we have made some landboard and skate board wall hangers Just bought some 45x45 mm pine wood and some 16mm diameter dowels. After drilling lots of holes and a slick of paint, the hangers were ready.

I've never been, I was just wondering if this site is still alive and permitted to fly there? On the Stopsley flyers FB page the last post is from 2012 and I can't see anything newer than this anywhere. I've moved to Berkhamsted Herts and in the last few years only been to Essex kite park a few times. Stopsley is only up the road so could be handy to get flying again.

Hello Everyone I'm just starting out in powerkiting, flying an Ozone Cult 3.5 static at my local park and beaches. Loads of fun, but I want to get into Landboarding, but as someone who has never skateboarded in the past, whats the best way to start? I haven't got a board yet, i'm looking for a 2nd hand board to start with, so i can get the cout rashing, bashing and learning done on a not so fancy board. Any suggestions about where to start? Should i buy a std longboard? or a mountain board? and what about foot loops? All advice appreciated, Dwalk, Levin NZ

Just like to say a big thankyou to everyone who helped me yesterday, managed to knock myself out cold doing a speed run along Greatstone beach, at least I think that's what happened!!I think Will took me out with a sniper rifle! Massive thanks to Unity Guy who caught hold of my which was dragging me along beach, not sure where I'd be if you hadn't grabbed it! Thanks to the coastguard/lifeboat crew that ran 40yds down the beach and the ambulance crew that came to collect me. Luckily no long term damage, might have lost a few braincells, but I wasn't using them anyway! Cheers to Will for following ambo and waiting around to give me lift back, big hugs!

So I got my hands on a pair of revos, fitted them to the board, but due to weather I have tried they out. But I have tried the board a bit by pushing off like a skateboard and I think it might be too loose for my liking. The way to adjust that would be to turn the elastomer inside right? Do you guys have any tips on how to get them loose? And one I got that which way to turn them to get the tricks tighter? //M
