A small number of us are heading down to the fields near the boots factory in nottingham today (in 30mins). Loads of room to fly and it wont interfere with the football at power league as its not on thier land. 15mph at the moment and its not blowing over any land masses to mess with the wind. If it gets going well we could see about setting up a gathering etc

Please place a post on here for me and an indication of the type of kiting you have carried out. If you check out the new Lincolnshire thread, you'll see that I have been invited to a consultation event by Lincolnshire Tourism to see the visitor destination masterplan on 19th September. I met the guys carrying out the initial visits by chance and asked them to make sure they included my favourite hobby - they suggested thay wanted local input so we swapped cards and the invitation has followed. Don't know how much influence we may have but some involvement is better than none. At this stage, one of our Lincolnshire Kiters has suggested that we put a list together in…

Hertford/Hatfield Flyers (HHF) We are an informal group who meet at various times to Fly, Buggy & Board. We fly at Bunkers in Hemel Hempstead ,Hartham in Hertford also Stopsley in Luton. We would be happy to meet other kiters from around the area. So if anyone fancies a chat about kites or just wants some help setting their kite up, feel free just to pop along and introduce yourself.

Hi all, just putting the feelers out to see who's flying in Leicestershire. Would like to link up with flyers in the weekdays and also looking for a decent place to landboard as the local parks within Leicester just ain't sufficient.
